About this course

The World Class on Economic, Social and Ecological Ethics focuses on the acquisition of knowledge, competences and skills in the area of sustainable development. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are used as the underlying rationale to analyse the connection between sustainable patterns of production and consumption, care for the environment, wealth distribution, responsible governance and societal participation.

José Antonio David, in addition to being a consultant and specialist in responsible environmental and social risk management for financial intermediation operations, also teaches at the Catholic University of Córdoba in Argentina. He previously taught the Globethics online course on Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development.

Ana Muro Cavanagh is an environmental scientist and sustainability corporate specialist with over 20 years of experience working at local and international level with private sector, civil society, international organisations and public agencies. As a consultant, she develops in-company trainings and sustainability strategies to promote the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the private sector.
